I worked with Brandy last year on her new album called "Human". Everyone knows her since she was a little girl so we wanted to make her look new & more mature but still young and approachable. We rented a mansion in Hollywood Hills, LA for a photoshoot, but unfortunately it didn’t reach the level of the album cover... My friend Michael Brandt is an amazing beauty photographer and Brandy fell in love with his work immediately so we did 2nd photoshoot in NY and got this cover. My favorite isRight Here (Departed).

去年ブランディと初仕事。大昔、１２インチで買った sitting up in my room から大ファンだったから、初ミーティングの時は感動で、それを伝えたらブランディも凄い喜んでくれて更に感激〜。 パッケージは、ロスで豪邸を貸し切って撮影したものの、満足出来る写真があがって来なくて、さあどうしよう。思いついたのがお友達でビューティフォトグラファーMichael Brand。SOHOのスタジオでマイケルのスタジオマジックに皆うっとり。ブランディも大大大満足！翌週にはブランディがオフィスまで来てくれて一日かけて一緒に写真選び。なんてフレンドリ〜！（ロスの家もすごかった）私はこのRight Here (Departed)がお気に入り。

"Men in Uniforms" 制服男子

I believe that lots of people love a man or woman in uniform, but Japanese people go crazy for them.  And their love even has evolved into “CosPlay”. Well, this is not about CosPlay...my friend Mana at TIMEMACHINE Labo has a new book called "Men in Uniforms"! There are cops, waiters, chefs and a car driver. You say “Moeeeee” in Japanese when you see something hot like this! She’s also published “Men in Glasses”, “Men is Suits” and “Prince Dictionary”.

制服男子…、美しい男子 in ユニフォームな写真集「制服男子」がお友達のマナたんのタイムマシーンラボから出ました！（遅い？）ウエイター、コンビニ店員、タクシードライバーが登場とまさに鼻血モノですねぇ。私は個人的にはお医者さんが…、いや、まあいいけどNYのUPSの茶色い制服もいいね！その他「メガネ男子」「スーツ男子」「王子辞典」なんてのも出ちゃってるそうです！

Growing Scallions Indoors ネギ！

I’m secretly dreaming of owning a small farm somewhere warm to grow vegetables someday... When you buy scallions, it often comes with roots. Cut the bottom 1.5” of the scallions and just put it in water. It grows easily. Scallions don’t need lots of sunlight so even if your apartment is not super sunny, it should be fine. Growing it in soil is faster so I just got a small bag of nice soil and cute planters at Perriwater Ltd on 1st ave and 52nd st. :)

In Japan, we use scallions on lots of dishes. You can chop it really small and put it in Miso soup, can be a nice topping for Tofu steak and etc...

意外と自炊するので、毎回ネギの根っこ捨てるのもったいないなぁと思ってたら、水栽培出来るらしいじゃないですか！毎日水かえてあげるとすくすくと伸びる伸びる！でも土栽培の方が早いらしいので、念願のベランダ菜園してみる事に…。ただNYまだ寒かったりするので窓際において部屋栽培にしてみました。かわゆいー。早くぐんぐん伸びないかなぁ。

I worked on a new pop/rock band called "The White Tie Affair" from Chicago. We've got a permission from Converse to use the shoes on the cover! The band is touring with Lady Gaga in the US now!

去年一緒に仕事したニューバンド The White Tie Affair。アートワークはメンバーがコンバース好きなので、コンバースに許可もらってカバー撮影にも使わせてもらいました！最近レディーガガ嬢とフロントアクトとしてツアー中らしい。
