トライベッカまで同僚やダーリンと仕事がてら+タダ酒飲みにフォトグラファーJim Fiscusの"The Unfortunate Moment of Misunderstanding"のエキシビジョンのオープニングパーティに行って来ました。いや、ちゃんと写真も見ましたよ。結構良かったんですけど、展示数が少ないから１０分もあれば見終わっちゃうんだもん！テラスがあったので霧雨の中ひたすら飲んでました…。私の気取った写真はブルックリンラガーを飲みながら、『お腹すいたなー、帰ろうよー』と訴えてる様子。この後ガッツリ天丼食べました♪

I went to an exhibition opening for Jim Fiscus "The Unfortunate Moment of Misunderstanding" at M Project Gallery in Tribecca last night. It was pretty amazing.. "A fine art photographic tale expressed through an integration of photography and computer generated imagery". I also enjoyed their amazing terrace with Brooklyn beers as much as the art!

今日のランチは仲良し上司と会社の近所の高島屋レストランに行って来ました！もち上司のおごりで。梅雨のないNYなのに、最近雨ばっかりで天気悪くて仕事もやる気ゼロだから美味しいもの食べに行こう〜、と言い訳ランチしてきました。日本の高島屋のNY支店なだけあって高級品が多いです。お茶セットや日本の高級小物も置いてるのでプレゼントとか買うのにはいいんだけど、自分の物は滅多に買えません…。今日は日替わり Bento Box Set 頂きました。んまぁ〜。

I went to Takashimaya for lunch today. Takashimaya is one of the main department stores in Japan and there is a small branch in Midtown. They carry great high-end stuff so I love it there only for a gift shopping and lunch time. I've never bought anything there for myself...! There are great tea and tea-sets as well. My Japanese lunch Bento Box was great as usual. Yummy!

カリフォルニア出身の新しいバンド、2am Clubと今仕事しています。インディーズで凄い人気だったらしく最近ウチと契約してみたい。やっとロゴ完成！100個位作ったような…。その内情チラ見せです。９０年代を意識したわりかしキャッチーなバンド。アルバムも今年発売予定なので今からアルバム撮影の準備。フォトグラファー、スタイリスト誰にしようか悩んでます。

7/15にNYのSantos Party Houseでライブありまーす。彼らにとってEast Coast初のメインお披露目ライブなので、プレスの人いっぱい呼んでレーベルも気合い入れてるっぽいです♪。

I've been working on a new band "2am Club" from the west coast and the logo is finalized finally after so many versions of comps! They've been really popular in the west coast so RCA Records just got singed with them. The new album is coming out this year so I'm looking for a photographer and stylist for the photoshoot now. They'll be playing at Santos NY on July 15th.

けっこう前のジャマイカの想い出。西の方にあるネグリルと言う夕日の有名な街。まさに絶景。夕日って時間制限があるから更に見とれてしまうんだよな。ずっと見つめていたいのに、絶対に沈んでしまう夕日だから、なんとも言えない気持ちになるのでしょうか？ピニャコラーダ飲みながらネルリルの夕日を見る、んぅ〜、また行きたい！ローカルビーチパーティは怖かったので二度と行きませんよー。

I went to Negril, Jamaica to enjoy some Piña Colada and the famous beautiful sunset a while ago. The sunset was really amazing, it almost made me cry. I don't know why but it was very touching.. I could have watched it forever but the sun goes down and night comes, no matter how I feel, that’s why it makes me wanting to go back there again to appreciate that moment.

週末たまたまフリマに遭遇。アッパーウエストなど色々フリマはあるけど、チェルシーの近くという場所柄アート系の雑貨とか家具が多いなと思いました。昔のシャネルのポスターとか古い診察台など色々。NYは夏はあたゆる所でストリートフェスティバルやフリマが行われてるのでブラブラするには最高！

As my usual weekend, I made some Bento box and put Lulu in my basket then ride to Hudson River Park. There was a cute little flea market near Chelsea. It makes me feel it’s summer finally when I pass by those flea markets and street festivals in NY. We’ve waited this for a long time… it was really a long winter!
