Rocky! ー 子犬がやってきた！

我が家に新しい子犬がやって来ました！名前はロッキー。生後１３週目。ルルと同じティーカップヨークシャテリアの男の子です。最大２キロ弱で超小型犬。ルルと同じブリーダーさんから購入したかったけど９月の終わりまで出産がないらしいので、リサーチした結果一番信頼出来るミネアポリスのブリーダーさんから購入しました。コンチネンタルエアラインは動物の搬送に力を入れていて、アメリが国内どこでも＄２５０でペット専用ルームで送ってくれるのです。ちゃんと各空港に動物のスペシャリストがいて、待ち時間など体調管理など受けわたしまでしっかりしてくれます。甘えん坊なロッキーは私に常にべったりでルルは面白くない模様…。きっと何日かたてば慣れてくれるはず？

Our new teacup yorkie puppy Rocky has arrived home! I preferred to get a new puppy from Lulu's breeder but they didn't have a litter until end of Sep so I got him from a breeder in Minneapolis. Continental Airlines has a special animal shipment for $250 anywhere in the US. There is also an animal specialist looking after pet's condition at the airports to make the pet's stress minimum. Lulu is still not sure about this tiny puppy but I hope she gets ok with him soon!

ダーリンが９ヶ月記念に寿司ディナーに連れて行ってくれました♪。一度行ってみたかった15 East Resutaurantと言うユニオンスクエアのそばにあるお寿司屋さんです。刺身も握りも極上に美味しかったんだけど、板前さん以外日本人じゃなくてがっかり。だって"ウナギ"って日本語で通じないなんて！結構いいお値段なんだからその位のレベルのサービスはしてほしいもんです。ずっと贔屓に通ってたミッドタウンのいちむらさんがクローズして依頼まだお気に入りのお寿司屋さんがNYで見つかりません！こじんまりしてて、カウンターでちょびちょび飲みながら美味しいお刺身をゆっくり食べて、最後にちょこっとお寿司食べる、的な所ないですかねー。

Y&D Photoshoot ー バンド撮影

RCAレコードからメジャーデビューするロックバンドYoung & Divineの撮影のアートディレクションしてきました！フォトグラファーはナイロンマガジンなどエッジーおされ写真をとらせたらナンバー１のKenneth Cappelloにお願い。スタジオはいつもお世話になってるミートパッキングのミルクスタジオ。まったりムードで撮影も順調だったけど、床底辺では小さな争いが…。一緒に撮影に来たルルとケニスのチワワ、チッチョリーナの女の戦いが勃発してました。「あたしの方がかわいいわよ！」と言わんばかりにお互い牽制しまくって吠え合い…。ま、撮影は無事に終わり、仕上がりが楽しみです。そして、遂に昨日ワン子を購入！ルルの弟もしくはBFになるロッキーが明日我が家にやってきます！報告お楽しみに。

I just finished a photoshoot for a super cool rock band Young & Divine today with a photographer Kenneth Cappello. It went really well and fun! The band will release a new album from RCA records very soon. I love their sound that is rock plus great electric/pop tuning in. You should check it out! We are moving onto the package design shortly... Kenneth brought his cute tiny Chihuahua Cicciolina to the shoot and of course Lulu came along with me! It was the first time for Lulu to play with a smaller dog than her so she was super curious about Cicciolina but she was so not interested playing with Lulu at all! BTW, a new yorkie puppy Rocky is coming home tomorrow so hope Lulu and him can get along well. :)

バタバタしてて更新が遅くなっちまいました！上半期は忙しくなかったのに、夏休み気分な時に忙しくなるなんて…。（涙）はーん。

最近はイギリスからお友達夫婦がお仕事で来てて、うちに滞在（中）してたので、ほぼ毎晩外食！うちから近所で一番美味しいんじゃないかと思うレストラン酒蔵に先週も今週も行って来ました。ご飯メニューも充実だけど、なにより酒蔵だけあって、お酒の種類が凄い！お友達の酒ソムリエちゃんもここで働いてたという程、日本酒に関してはマンハッタンで一番揃ってるんじゃないでしょうか。お酒の陳列棚に高知の酔鯨を見た時は感動！

Sakagura's entrance is very hidden so you'd never recognize the place by walking past the street but you'd discover the most amazing Japanese food there.It's probably one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in NY. I mean "Japanese restaurants" not "Sushi restaurants" because lots of people think Sushi is the main Japanese food and we eat it a lot but actually we don't. We don't really make those pieces of sushi at home. We do roll sushi occasionally but it's not the main Japanese home style food. Anyway, if you go there, try my hometown Sake "Suigei - Drunken Whale" which means even a big whale can't handle getting drunk because it's so good.

森の中にいると犬に見えないルル…をアップステートで浅い川に何度か投込んでみたんだけど、相当怖かったらしくしばらく寄って来てきてくれませんでした…。しょんぼり。泳いだ？と言うより、水の中を走って岸に戻って来た…。私はゲラゲラ笑ってたけどルルは目から怒りビーム出してました。

I just wanted to see if Lulu can swim so I put her in shallow water river but she didn't like it at all... I also stepped on her body accidentally after this....what a tough day for her!
