新年早々とあるアイドルの撮影でロス出張。皆ホリデーモードで中々連絡つかずギリギリで撮影の準備してヒヤヒヤ。NYはまた雪だと言うのにロスは暖かいねー。朝と夜は肌寒いけど太陽の下にいたらポカポカ！この気候を味わっただけでも来たかいがあったな。今回はSilverlakeにある往年のハリウッドスターのもの凄い豪邸を借りての撮影。
今回は何年ぶり？かのフィルム撮影。デジタルが主流なこの時代にフィルムにこだわるフォトグラファーもいい！デジタルでやたらモニターばっかり気にして撮影するのに慣れちゃったけど、ポラロイドをそーっとはがすあのドキドキ感はやっぱいいもんだ。
ポラロイドを脇の下で暖めながらセットでそのまま待つ間、フォトグラファーとアーティストと私の間でするちょっとした会話が信頼関係を築く。そしてフィルム撮影してもLowres ScanでOnline Contact Sheetとして見れる事にカンドー！仕上がりが楽しみ♪そしてまた来週は別のアーティストの撮影でロス出張！
明けましておめでとうございます！正月っけの全くないNYは３日の今日から仕事初め。クリスマス後の大雪もすっかり溶けかけてきて（写真は雪の２日後）、普段のマンハッタンの顔に戻りつつあります。
それにしても去年は色々あったけど、沢山の人に支えながら楽しく過ごせた一年でした。（ありがとう！）今年は更にがんばるで〜！ブログもボチボチやって行きますんで応援宜しくです♥
Happy new year! And the party is over! My mind is still in the holiday season but I guess my work is not leaving me alone...going to LA for a photoshoot this week. Busy busy busy.
So many things happened last year but everything happened for good reasons so I don't look back and move on and on! I'm feeling 10 times stronger than last year and am fortunate to have people who accept me as I am.. I can see so many happiness and smiles are waiting for me this year! x
NYはマイナス６℃まで下がって凍り付く寒さです。ﾌﾟﾙﾌﾟﾙ。今年も来たか〜っ、て感じで慣れっこだれど、南国土佐育ちの私にはこの寒さだけは愛せない〜。
さてさて、今月２２日は八海山のホリデーパーティがレストラン酒蔵で開催されますよ〜！吟醸、特別純米、本醸造の３種に加え、米国では販売されていない生原酒も特別に飲めるとか。しかーも！陶芸家、福岡光里さんが八海山の為に作った素敵なオリジナルおちょこがもれなくお土産でもらえるとの事！（上写真）

忘年会シーズン、夜のイベントが多くてちょっとフラフラ〜…なｱﾀｼ。凄い久し振りに、串揚げで有名なSachiko's On Clintonに行ってきましたー。NYは本当に何でも食べれるなーと感心。ﾌﾑ。Sachiko's On ClintonはLower East Sideにあって、串揚げ以外にもお刺身やお寿司も美味しいし、色々食べたい人にはもってこいですなぁ。
そ、し、て、オーナーのサチ子さんがサービスで出して下さった牡蠣のリゾットが激ウマーーーｯｯｯ！！！あまりにも美味しくて気絶しそうでした…。（￣O￣; 濃厚な牡蠣の出汁とチーズがきいていて、本当にヤバいですっ。裏メニューらしく、ある時にしか出してないそうですが予約の時に頼めば大抵作ってくれるとの事。串揚げも美味しいんですが、今度はこの牡蠣リゾットを目当てにまた行きたいと思います★
ちなみにこの夜のお酒は山口県の獺祭♥んま〜。
It’s been a busy winter so far and going out a lot for the holiday parties almost every night! One night, I wanted to have a nice quiet dinner at Sachiko's On Clinton to eat Kushi-Age which is a Japanese-style of deep-fried kebab with a nice sake. Their Kushi-Age was of course great but Sachiko-san, the owner of the restaurant surprised me with their secret menu Oyster risotto. It was really really amazing. They don't have it on the menu but they can make it if you tell them when you make a reservation. I have to go back there to enjoy the risotto again!

９月にフラッシングで開催されたAsian Feastivalで出会った「南翔小龍包」、やっとこさお店に行ってきました！週末のお昼だったけど、激混み。45分程待ちました。でも待つだけの事はある！
まずはスパイシー竹の子とピリ辛胡麻ソース($5.5)のダンプリング。胡麻ソースがクセになりそう！そしてメインは蟹肉と豚の小龍包($6.5)！！お箸ではじっこに穴を開けて、出て来た熱々肉汁スープをまず一口。う、う、う、まーーーっっ！濃厚な肉汁に蟹の出汁が出まくってて凄いコクとジューシーさ、なのに油っこくない。スープを飲んだ所で、速攻本体を頂きました。もう美味しさはこれ以上表現出来ません。とにかく飲み込まなくてずっと口の中にいて欲しい美味しさ。手作りの皮もまた最高。はあぁ〜…。
これはビールと一緒に食べたら無敵！なはずなのに「南翔小龍包」はアルコール類を出してない。。。それだけがチョット心残りでしたが、フラッシングまで足を伸ばしたかいありまくりでした！
I went to Flushing, Queens to eat the best dumplings at Nan Shian Dumpling House! I had their dumplings at Asian Feastival back in Sep and couldn't stop thinking about the taste of it so finally I got to eat it as much as I wanted! :D It was a weekend lunch time so the restaurant was super busy! We waited for 45 min but definitely worth it!
We had really tasty spicy bamboo shoot and dumplings with a spicy sesame source to start. The main course was of course the crab-pork dumplings ($6.5)! I was just so speechless when I had it in my mouth....It was soooo juicy and yummy!! Maybe I'm going back there this weekend again!
