I love this cool Darth Vader helmet, which my good friend Mark at ilovedust has made. Ilovedust has also made beautiful logos for Beyonce and helped me on loads of other projects. Really amazing designers and also fun drinkers!!

Oh, did you know the helmet of Darth Vader was designed based on Japanese samurai warrior Date Masamune?

良く一緒に仕事をする私のお友達のイギリスアーティスト集団 ilovedust が作ったダースベーダーヘルメット。ここ何年かビヨンセのロゴデザインなど数多く一緒に仕事をしてるけど、本当に才能溢れたヤツらです。それにしてもよくビール飲みなら仕事出来るなーと感心してしまうけど。誰かこのダースベーダヘルメットかぶってバイク乗ってください。

Sprouting Shiso - シソ発芽した

I believe you've heard of "Ume Shiso Roll" at a Japanese restaurant. I planted these shiso seeds about ten days ago, and they finally started to sprout yesterday!! I wonder if I put too much of the seeds...looks like lots of them are sprouting...!  It's so expensive to buy Shiso in Manhattan so hopefully I won't need to buy it anymore, ;) oh and my scallions are growing a lot and happy with Nohohon-zoku.

大葉が発芽しました！１０日ほど前に植えて昨日芽が出たー！ちょっと種を入れすぎたのがまばらに凄いいっぱい出ちゃってるように見えるのは気のせいでしょうか…？大葉は虫もつかないし、簡単にぐんぐん伸びてくれるので楽しみ。マンハッタンで大葉は日本のスーパー行かないと買えないし高いから早く育ってくれないかなー。ちなみにネギ伸びまくってまーす。のほほん族もゆれてる。

Japanese Dinner - サバの味噌煮

The top picture is my dinner one night. I made Saba No Miso Ni (Mackerel marinated with Miso), Tororo (Japanese Yam), Miso soup and barley rice. Doesn't that sound healthy?  I also made a face-bento and squid ink risotto. Yummy!

ある日のウチの食卓です。サバの味噌煮美味しく出来た！（ちょっと煮崩れしたけど…）トロロにはヤッパリ麦ご飯ですよね。うん。その他残り物で弁当作ったりしてます。イカスミリゾットは初めて作ったけど美味しくて出来て感動。

One night, I was drunk enough to try to sing "Single Ladies" at Karaoke but it was impossible to sing...too fast! But I guess my dance was ok!

最近？の私のビヨ関連の仕事。撮影からデザインまでオールイン！で頑張ったー！カラオケで酔っぱらって無謀にも"Single Ladies"を歌おうとしたけど歌えるわけないっつーのねっ！無理っす。
